Private Japanese Barber in Sydney CBD — The Spirit of Japan
HIROGINZA PREMIUM BARBER SYDNEY DYMOCKS is a Japanese men's barber in Sydney CBD, located in Suite 5 on Level 1 of the Dymocks Building at 428 George Street. High partitions and individual curtains separate our grooming booths, providing visual privacy and space to unwind.
Our Signature Grooming Course includes consultation, haircut, shampoo, hot towel and facial shaving, shoulder and neck massage, and styling. Regular price: AUD 150. First visit: AUD 120. Please allow one hour for your appointment, including consultation. Additional services may require more time.
Our Japanese barbers, Ryunosuke Kano and Rika Kano, bring experience from HIRO GINZA salons in Japan. We discuss your hair, preferred style and daily routine, from neat business haircuts to fades and shorter, textured looks. Our focus is a considered finish that you can manage at home.
Appointments are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to availability. Book online to view available appointments, or see our menu for additional grooming options, prices and appointment information.
Shampoo choices and men’s perms
Choose your wash. Enjoy a traditional Japanese seated shampoo with a forward rinse, or a reclining backwash. See both shampoo options.
Find your perm style. Explore rod and Japanese iron perms for natural movement, centre parts, short textured styles and more defined curls. We recommend a method after discussing your hair and preferred finish. Read our men’s perm style guide.

Founded in Japan in July 2005, HIRO GINZA has expanded to Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. Our Sydney location is the group's first salon in Australia.
