Moving into leadership can prompt a desire to look more established. That does not mean copying the appearance of the person who previously held the role. Start with the qualities you want colleagues to recognise: clarity, approachability or a stronger sense of personal consistency. Those goals offer a more useful brief than simply asking to look senior.
A practical question to answer before the service
Bring photographs from your current work life and explain which ones feel authentic. A large change may be unnecessary if your existing style already suits the environment. Ask your barber, “What should we keep so the change still feels like me?” A considered business haircut supports your presence without suggesting that authority depends on one prescribed appearance.
Bring one or two reference photos and explain what is difficult on a normal workday: straight hair that does not move, sides that expand, a flat top, a fringe that will not flow, or a routine that takes too long. A useful consultation connects the visible shape to the time, tools and products you actually use.
Service and booking guide
The Signature Grooming Course is AUD150, with a first-visit price of AUD120. It includes consultation, haircut, shampoo and scalp cleanse, hot towel, Japanese facial shaving, shoulder and neck massage, and styling. Haircut pricing does not change by hairstyle; detailed clipper line art may cost extra. If straight, coarse or dense hair resists movement or pushes out at the sides, ask whether an iron perm or another Japanese men's perm approach is suitable. Perm services start from AUD250 including haircut and shaving, with a 60-minute booking guide. Iron perms are not recommended on bleached hair. Technique and current availability must be confirmed at consultation.
For a Sydney CBD appointment, allow enough time to reach Suite 5 on Level 1 of the Dymocks Building, 428 George Street. The location is convenient for people planning a visit around Town Hall, George Street or the central business district, but use the complete suite and floor details rather than relying only on a “near me” result.
