Business Haircut Sydney CBD: Keeping Styling Product Away From the Comb Handle
Ryunosuke Kano

When product collects on the handle of your comb, it can make your grip inconsistent and transfer back to your hands. During a business haircut finishing demonstration, notice how the barber separates application from the use of a tool. Ask how to manage that sequence with your own routine.

A practical question to answer before the service

Follow the product and tool care directions, and clean your hands when needed before switching stages. This is a small practical detail, but it can make a technique easier to reproduce. You are aiming for a controlled movement rather than gripping more tightly as the handle becomes slippery. A clear routine should explain these transitions as well as the visible arrangement of the hair itself.

Bring one or two reference photos and explain what is difficult on a normal workday: straight hair that does not move, sides that expand, a flat top, a fringe that will not flow, or a routine that takes too long. A useful consultation connects the visible shape to the time, tools and products you actually use.

Service and booking guide

The Signature Grooming Course is AUD150, with a first-visit price of AUD120. It includes consultation, haircut, shampoo and scalp cleanse, hot towel, Japanese facial shaving, shoulder and neck massage, and styling. Haircut pricing does not change by hairstyle; detailed clipper line art may cost extra. If straight, coarse or dense hair resists movement or pushes out at the sides, ask whether an iron perm or another Japanese men's perm approach is suitable. Perm services start from AUD250 including haircut and shaving, with a 60-minute booking guide. Iron perms are not recommended on bleached hair. Technique and current availability must be confirmed at consultation.

For a Sydney CBD appointment, allow enough time to reach Suite 5 on Level 1 of the Dymocks Building, 428 George Street. The location is convenient for people planning a visit around Town Hall, George Street or the central business district, but use the complete suite and floor details rather than relying only on a “near me” result.
