What to discuss with your barber
Ask which parts of the finish are intended to be shaped and which can be left to settle. At home, notice whether your fingers are moving product from one area to another. You may prefer a less deliberately arranged moustache if frequent restyling becomes distracting. The useful discussion is about your own desired appearance and handling habits. It does not require adopting a traditional moustache shape or copying the routine of someone with different facial hair.
