Business Haircut Sydney CBD: Managing the First Comb Stroke After Drying
Rika Kano

The first comb stroke after drying can either preserve the direction you established or pull the hair into a completely different arrangement. Ask your barber where that first stroke should begin for your intended business haircut finish. Observe how much of the comb passes through the section.

What to discuss with your barber

You may not need to comb firmly from roots to ends every time. A lighter adjustment can produce a different surface. Let the barber demonstrate the distinction, then check which result you prefer. At home, make one deliberate pass before repeating the movement. If the style changes more than you wanted, you will have a specific action to discuss instead of assuming the whole drying stage was unsuccessful.

Plan your Sydney CBD appointment

The Signature Grooming Course is AUD150, with a first-visit option at AUD120. It includes consultation, haircut, shampoo, hot towel, Japanese facial shaving, shoulder and neck massage, and styling. Confirm additions and the total before booking. For straight, coarse or dense hair that resists movement, ask whether an iron perm is suitable. Perm courses start at AUD250 including haircut and shaving. Iron perms are not recommended on bleached hair; other perm techniques should be confirmed at consultation.
