Business Haircut Sydney CBD: Giving a Flattened Crown Its Own Drying Step
Rika Kano

If the crown lies flat while the front styles easily, explain that difference to your barber. A single drying motion across the whole head may not teach you how to manage each area. Ask for a separate demonstration focused on the section you struggle with.

What to discuss with your barber

Watch where the airflow begins and how the hair is guided, using comfortable settings appropriate to the technique. Then compare the result before any product is added. This lets you see whether preparation changes the appearance you want to address. For a business haircut, a targeted step can be easier to maintain than increasing the amount of product everywhere. Bring back specific observations if the section behaves differently when you style it yourself.

Plan your Sydney CBD appointment

The Signature Grooming Course is AUD150, with a first-visit option at AUD120. It includes consultation, haircut, shampoo, hot towel, Japanese facial shaving, shoulder and neck massage, and styling. Confirm additions and the total before booking. For straight, coarse or dense hair that resists movement, ask whether an iron perm is suitable. Perm courses start at AUD250 including haircut and shaving. Iron perms are not recommended on bleached hair; other perm techniques should be confirmed at consultation.
