Men’s Haircut With a Fringe You Sometimes Tuck Back: Sydney Planning
Ryunosuke Kano

A fringe that can be worn forward or tucked back needs enough useful length for both arrangements. Tell the barber which version you wear most and which is occasional.

What to discuss

Show the tuck position and identify sections that already fall loose. Ask how much shortening would change that function before cutting begins. A reference worn entirely forward may hide the length needed for the second arrangement.

Plan your appointment

If adding movement with a perm is part of the goal, discuss both finishes rather than only the version shown in the photograph. Confirm suitability, current technique availability and the styling required for each. An iron perm is not recommended on bleached hair. The priority is a clear trade-off between neatness, movement and retaining enough length for the way you use the fringe.

Signature Grooming is AUD150, with a first-visit option at AUD120. Confirm any additional services and the total before booking. Written by Ryunosuke Kano, HIROGINZA Sydney.
