Japanese Barber Sydney CBD: Asking for a Written Styling Sequence
Ryunosuke Kano

If you find it difficult to remember spoken styling instructions, ask to note the sequence before leaving. A few concrete steps can be more useful than remembering only the product name.

What to discuss

Write down the hair condition at application, the starting amount and the order in which the fringe, top and sides are arranged. Ask the barber to clarify any step that is too vague to reproduce. Your notes should describe the routine demonstrated for your own hair.

Plan your appointment

For a perm, include the service name and the aftercare given for that appointment. HIROGINZA allows shampoo on the treatment day and advises avoiding the sauna that day. The next haircut can be used to review which steps worked and which need changing. No routine should be presented as identical for every hair type.

Signature Grooming is AUD150, with a first-visit option at AUD120. Confirm any additional services and the total before booking. Written by Ryunosuke Kano, HIROGINZA Sydney.

Suite 5, Level 1, Dymocks Building, 428 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. View current appointments and confirm your service.
