Perm aftercare advice can sound contradictory when you have used different salons. Before combining instructions, establish which advice applies to the treatment you actually received and which advice came from an older appointment.
Identify the service and the date
Keep the service name and note when it was performed. If another salon treated the hair, share its instructions rather than assuming the method was the same as a Japanese iron perm. If you cannot identify the technique, say so. A barber should not infer the full chemical history from a finished hairstyle alone.
Use the instructions for the current appointment
For HIROGINZA Sydney’s guidance, shampoo is allowed on the treatment day and the sauna should be avoided that day. Ask the treating barber to clarify your own service before changing a routine based on a general internet rule. Product recommendations depend on your hair and preferred finish rather than a universal perm product.
Make your next haircut a review
Tell Ryunosuke or Rika how the shape behaved between appointments. For clients with monthly haircuts, discussing a perm at every second visit is a possible planning guide, not a guaranteed lifespan or a compulsory schedule. Another salon’s timetable does not replace an assessment of your current hair.
