Using a hair iron before work and booking a Japanese iron perm are different decisions. If your straight hair only holds its shape after daily heat styling, explain that routine at your barber appointment before choosing a treatment.
Start with the shape you keep recreating
Show your barber what you do each morning: a small bend at the fringe, a swept side part or a rounded top. Daily styling temporarily arranges the hair. A salon iron perm is a professional perm service intended to help the hair retain a chosen shape; it is not simply a longer blow-dry. The final result still depends on the cut, hair condition and how you dry it.
What would make the appointment worthwhile?
Name the step you want to make easier. If you spend time forcing a fringe backwards but prefer an otherwise straight outline, a tight, highly visible curl may not answer your problem. Ask Ryunosuke or Rika to explain the proposed movement and demonstrate the home finish. An iron perm can be useful for suitable coarse, dense hair, but it does not mean every head of straight hair needs a perm.
Check suitability before committing
Tell us about bleach and previous chemical services. We do not recommend an iron perm on bleached hair. HIROGINZA Sydney lists the perm course from AUD250 including a haircut and shaving. The usual booking allocation is 60 minutes; confirm the required time and final quote for your hair. Availability of the requested technique should be confirmed when booking.
