Thinking about a men’s perm on short hair? Before booking, show us both your current hair and the finished look you want. A single minimum-length answer cannot replace checking the hairstyle and technique together.
Where do you want the movement?
Identify whether you want direction through the fringe, movement across the top or a more defined curl. Hair does not have to be the same length everywhere, so the areas you want to change matter to the consultation.
At HIROGINZA Sydney CBD, our available options include rod-based styles and Japanese iron perms. We explain which options are appropriate for the hair we can actually assess. We do not promise that every short haircut is ready for every perm style.
Share your chemical history
Tell us if your hair has been bleached, coloured or straightened. We do not recommend iron perms on bleached hair. If the requested finish is not appropriate now, we can discuss a haircut or a plan for growing the relevant sections.
Both Ryunosuke Kano and Rika Kano provide perms. Prices start from AUD 250 with a haircut and shaving included. Both our usual perm and iron perm appointments use a 60-minute booking slot. Check our booking menu before reserving.
