When we started preparing to open HIROGINZA in Australia, there was something we kept hearing about Sydney.
“Sydney starts early.”
People wake up early.
They train before work.
They grab their coffee early.
The CBD starts moving while many other cities are still waking up.
And when we heard that, our reaction was simple.
Perfect. We’ll start early too.
HIROGINZA Sydney opens from 8:00 AM.
And to be honest, we’re excited about it.
Why 8:00 AM?
Opening early isn’t just a business strategy for us.
There is a reason behind it.
We want to support people who work hard.
Sydney CBD is full of people building businesses, leading teams, meeting clients, working long hours and constantly moving from one responsibility to another.
For those people, finding time for a haircut isn’t always easy.
Sometimes your only free time is before your first meeting.
Sometimes it’s after your last one.
We don’t think you should have to sacrifice half your weekend because your barber is only available during the same hours you’re working.
So we’re building our opening hours around the people we want to serve.
8:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
Thirteen hours.
From early morning until late evening.
Get Your Haircut Before Work
Imagine this.
You have an important meeting at 10:00 AM.
Instead of trying to squeeze in a haircut the night before, you come to George Street in the morning.
You sit down.
Fresh haircut.
Japanese shaving.
Hair styled.
You’re finished and ready to walk into the office looking sharp.
That’s exactly the kind of experience we want to make possible.
For some clients, 8:00 AM may become their regular appointment.
Haircut first.
Work second.
That’s a routine we’d love to become part of.
And If You Finish Late, We’re Still Here
Of course, not everyone is a morning person.
Some people start early and finish late.
Some schedules change every day.
That’s why opening early is only half of the idea.
HIROGINZA Sydney stays open until 9:00 PM.
If you’ve finished a long day at work and suddenly realise you need a haircut before tomorrow’s meeting, we want to be there.
If 7:00 PM is the first moment you’ve had for yourself all day, we want to be there.
If you simply prefer getting everything done after work, we want to be there.
Morning or evening shouldn’t determine whether you can take care of yourself.
We Heard Sydney Works Hard
We’re coming from Japan.
And we’re coming with a lot of energy.
We have heard many times that Sydney people start their days early.
That people here value their mornings.
That the city has a culture of getting up and getting moving.
We respect that.
